Dashboard for Summarized Data

A complete overview of system activity and performance.

The Dashboard is the central place to monitor Bloggo’s status — post activity, author performance, system usage, and more. It updates automatically as new content is created, approved, or published.

For Admins

Admins see the full picture:

  • Pending Versions — shows how many posts are waiting for review or approval.

  • Publishing Rate — daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly publication counts to measure activity trends.

  • Top Authors — highlights the most active authors and their post counts.

  • Draft Count — total number of unapproved drafts in the system.

  • Popular Tags — frequently used tags across all posts.

  • System Storage — real-time view of used and free disk space, including:

    • Usage by Bloggo (stored files like images and attachments)
    • Usage by external data (uploads, backups, etc.)
    • Estimated remaining capacity (e.g., number of new images or post versions that can still be stored).

Admins also have a Recent Activity feed that shows every important system event — post creations, approvals, deletions, and updates — with timestamps and user info. This helps identify who changed what, and when.

For Editors

Editors see content-focused data:

  • Pending posts and removal requests
  • Publishing rate by authors
  • Category and tag performance summaries
  • Quick links to review queues

For Authors

Authors get a personal snapshot:

  • Their own post statistics
  • Recently published or rejected versions
  • Draft progress and submission history

The Dashboard gives each user a summarized but powerful view of Bloggo’s health — from editorial workflow to system resources — all in one screen.
