Post Ownership and Removal Requests
Before talking about removal requests, we must talk about post ownership. A post on system always has versions. You create a post with its initial version. You are the author of this post regardless whose version of this post is published. You created a post, someone else duplicated your version and created its own version. Editor decided to publish their versions. You, are the author of this post.
But, a version is belong to you until post has been approved. If it’s a draft, you can delete it anytime you want. If you have send it for review, it is now belong to system, not you. They have right to publish it. But you can still want them to delete your post, by writing a reason text.
You are not limited to request removals only for your own posts. A post disturbed you? Write your reason, request a removal.
Editors and admins can view active, unanswered removal requests by clicking “Removals” link on side menu. They can always clear filters to show past requests. They also must provide a reason text for this.
Do not forget, you don’t request a removal for a version, for the whole post
